A WALK IN THE SUN

Down there along the
White crystal shoreline
A California southern beach unfolds
In morning.

I walk, looking up at
The blue and white
Tangent
Of cloud covered skies
Set above this
Ocean town.

And now, standing here
Alongside the tall
Whispering grass,
I am at once minute
And then, so
Unimportant.

And, as I stare,
There above me, wings
Appearing stilled in
Flight…

A coastal gull maintains
Steadied, skilled
Balance while
Motionlessly eyeing a
Migration of ‘young hardbacks’
Cautiously entering the
Calm Sea.

COME WITH ME

Experience youthful
Return…
A damp forgiveness
Found in the river of
Love’s soft and
Flowing melody.

Come with me now
On a trip
Back to where only
Love is
Shared.

This is the journey
Back home.

For our last clinging moments
Prior to death
Are spent in this
Youthful return…

When soon, a (new) star
Must occupy
Horizon.

MYSTERY

You walk the
Lit candle
Out into still
Night.

Stop
Stare into
It’s bright circle.

And then,
If you beckon
It to,
It will dance
For you…

If you believe
In Mystery.

REFLECTION

I awaken in the darkness
Of Death’s emerald
Morning.

Newly clothed in moments
Of my demise,
I’ve set in motion my own
"Divine Footsteps."

Soft, pearl like
Memories are
Etched in enchanted
Fields where
Now
I must lay.

My shapeless body is of
Spirit energy.
This flowing, pleasant
Melody…

My formless, shifting
Song of
Death.
