Night falls whispering.
Ancient cicada voices
Embrace summer moon.

Sailing swallowtail,
Translucent rainbow of light
Brightens hazy day.
Lakeside sentinels,
Slender stalks spiking skyward.
Wind waves undulate.
Sultry summer breeze.
Warm fingers caress my face.
Jasmine scented eve.
Snowflakes dance wildly,
Whipping, whirling with the wind.
Winter rhapsody.
Suns warmth on my back,
Soothing away winter chill,
Icy mantle melts.
Trees sway in the wind
Slowly the leaves start to drop
Fall has now begun.
