My waiting job wasn't so bad
after all I guess. My friend Andy and his former coworker are filing a lawsuit against fancy midtown restaurant "Town" for gay harassment that involved wine bottle prodding and serving tray spankings. The Post wrote a story about it today, albeit a very condescending one.
After seeing the lawsuit mentioned on Gothamist, I vaguely remembered Andy telling me about it a few weeks ago and thinking it was awesome. And now publicity! I've been trying for months to get gay harassed here at the investment bank where I work, but apparently velour shirts, cowboy boots, and a pink belt just aren't enough. Next week I'm going to start putting on makeup in the men's room.
