The Wedding March

Continuing on yesterday's theme, I want to talk about a fun and easy (and the only) gay marriage-related action happening in New York City this month. We're marching over the Brooklyn Bridge on Sunday at 11 am. Fun, right? We can carry big signs, dress up like brides and grooms, play the "Wedding March" on the bagpipes and other portable instruments, pee off the bridge, and make merry while celebrating the first gay marriages in US history. We are also protesting the fact that gay marriage is not legal in New York.

Date: Sunday, May 23

Time: 11am

Location: Cadman Plaza on the Brooklyn side of the bridge

Subway Directions: A or C to High Street Station or 2, 3, M or R
to Borough Hall Station

March Route: Across the Brooklyn Bridge to Battery Park in
Manhattan
